Straight Shank ER Collet Chuck
Straight shank ER collet chucks are a versatile and precise method for clamping a variety of round shank tooling, such as spot drills, drills, taps, reamers, and more. Our straight shank collet chucks feature ER-16, 25, or 32 collet tapers for tool clamping. The cylindrical shanks have one flat, and will install in any tool block that has the appropriate bore size and set-screw clamping, such as our BOT or BMT tool blocks. A bushing may be used to size down the bore in the tool block, if it is larger than the shank of the collet chuck.
Straight shank ER collet chucks can also be used as extended-length milling collets, by clamping them into the appropriate endmill toolholders.
